Freeformers
Practical AI, people and future of work support for charities and mission-led organisations
About
Toby Kheng is the Founder of Freeformers and a future of work, L&D, HR and workforce transformation specialist with more than 15 years’ experience.
Toby helps charities, CICs, social enterprises and mission-led organisations create a better world of work, for everyone. Through Freeformers, he provides practical training, facilitation and advisory support that helps people build the mindsets, skills and systems they need to do meaningful work, make better decisions, use technology responsibly and create more human, inclusive and effective workplaces.
His work focuses on behaviour change, not just knowledge transfer. Programmes combine mindset change, practical skill-building and real-world application, helping participants apply new tools and behaviours directly to their own work. Areas of support include AI confidence, employee insight, project management, presentation skills, customer success, employee value proposition design and human-centred learning design.
Toby has worked with organisations including Creative Diversity Network, Enginuity, Kinship in the UK and Galt Foundation, a US-based non-profit. He is also a trustee at Mid Norfolk Mencap, giving him direct experience of charity governance, disability inclusion and community-led work. Freeformers is also a supporter of the Disability Employment Charter, reflecting a wider commitment to accessible and inclusive work.
Toby’s work has been nominated for multiple awards, and he has spoken at Charities HR Network events, contributing to sector conversations about learning, people development and organisational capability in the charity sector.
