Children's Safeguarding and Child Protection Consultancy
About
SaferNow is a UK specialist safeguarding training and consultancy organisation focused on extra-familial harm - the risks children and young people face outside the home, including exploitation, trafficking, serious and contextual harm.
We help charities, CICs, social enterprises, community organisations and safeguarding partnerships move from awareness to confident, evidence-informed practice - building the skills, systems and culture that keep young people safer.
Our work is grounded in contextual safeguarding and trauma-informed principles and is always built around an organisation's real cases and contexts rather than delivered off the shelf.
To date, SaferNow has trained over 9,500 professionals across local authorities, the NHS, police, education and the voluntary sector. The team combines frontline and strategic experience with specialist expertise, including adolescent forensic psychology, and draws on backgrounds spanning complex safeguarding investigations, violence intervention, multi-agency safeguarding leadership, and advisory and consultancy roles.
Founded and led by Sean Monaghan, SaferNow brings systemic practice and service development into training and consultancy that is practical, credible and rooted in pragmatism.
