Verdant Purpose HR
HR Consultant for UK Charities
About
I am an FCIPD-qualified HR Director with an MA in Human Resource Management and a CMI Level 8 in Strategic Leadership.
Since July 2021, I have served as a Trustee for an RSPCA Branch, leading HR strategy, policy redevelopment, and digital transformation for a charity with 20 staff and 200 volunteers. I appreciate the unique challenges of charity leadership.
I founded Verdant Purpose HR to address the distinct needs of charities, which differ substantially from those of private sector businesses. Over the past year, I have helped several charities recover from financial crises and build sustainable futures.
I provide clear, legally compliant HR support designed for small and medium-sized UK charities, with a focus on the animal welfare sector.
I work directly with charity CEOs and trustees to manage complex employment law issues, implement compliant restructures and branch mergers, and resolve high-risk personnel matters before they worsen.
I do not offer empty promises. Instead, I provide the tools, support, and advice needed to protect your board from criticism and your charity from reputational risk, so you can focus on what your charity does best.
My services include a mix of advisory, ad hoc, admin, fixed-price projects, retainer, hr systems implementation, strategy development as well as both leadership and general management training workshops.
