I am an evaluation and research consultant and chartered Health Psychologist with 20 years experience working in health research. I support organisations to design and evaluate services focused on long-term health conditions, self-management, and mental health and wellbeing. I am experienced in working across a range of community and healthcare settings to help organisations understand what works, for whom, and why. I’m a specialist in qualitative research and lived experience work, with a strong focus on capturing the perspectives of service users, clients, volunteers, and staff. Highly skilled in using interviews, focus groups, and participatory methods to generate meaningful insight that can directly inform service development and improvement. I am experienced in developing and applying practical monitoring and evaluation approaches, including theories of change and simple, usable frameworks that fit within real-world constraints. Comfortable translating evaluation requirements into straightforward tools and processes that teams can actually use in day-to-day practice.
