Gormley Consulting
Strategy & Fundraising Consultant for charities, social enterprises & impact-led organisations
About
I’m an award-winning consultant specialising in income, fundraising and growth strategy, helping purpose-led organisations strengthen performance, align leadership and build more sustainable, scalable models.
I work closely with leadership teams and boards to bring clarity, focus and momentum - turning complexity into clear, actionable strategies and helping organisations move quickly from diagnosis into delivery.
Before becoming an independent consultant, I held senior leadership roles across fundraising and marketing at Evelina London & Guy's & St Thomas' hospital charities, King's College London and Tommy's, leading transformation and innovation programmes that improved engagement, strengthened culture, and delivered significant income growth.
Over the past few years, I've worked with organisations including Hestia, Hatch, Keech Hospice Care, Target Ovarian Cancer, Native Scientists, Thoughtful, ISPCC and Acumen Academy, as well as supporting founders and impact-led businesses.
I also partner with Dirk Bischof and a network of mission-driven peers to support organisations navigating growth, complexity and systems-level change.
I care deeply about the role income generation can play in enabling meaningful, long-term impact - and about helping organisations move beyond short-term fixes to build something more focused, resilient and effective.
When to call me:
> Income is underperforming or not growing at the pace it should
> There’s ambition to grow, but no clear or aligned income strategy
> Fundraising, revenue and communications are disconnected
> Teams are working hard but lack focus, prioritisation or traction
> The organisation is evolving (e.g. charity ↔ enterprise thinking) and needs a more integrated approach to income
> You need to move quickly from insight to action, with clear leadership alignment
